We, at Love From Grandma's House, are excited to open our online store so that we can bring our homespun gifts, with a heritage that runs deep in America, right to your home computer for convenient shopping without having to leave the comfort of your home.  We are nestled in the high country of Arizona, only a few hours from Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, California, and Nevada, right off of Historic Route 66. Cold and sometimes Snowy Winters give us a lot of time to design and plan when we can't get outside for a while.

We especially try to design gifts that take us back to that time when we were kids and we remember grandma and granpa and those old stories about when they were kids playing "kick the can" or fishing on the bank of a creek somewhere on the back forty. Here is Sending Out Some Love From Grandma's House!

Grandma Annie

Tomato Pesto Tarts

2/3 cup chopped tomatoes
¼ cup mozzarella
3 T shredded Parmesan
2 tsp.pesto
1/8 tsp ground black pepper

Mini phyllo dough tart shells (usually in the frozen pie shell section of your local grocery store)

Mix all ingredients, fill tart shells, and bak 8-12 mins. at 350*. The tart shells come about 15 per box depending on the brand. Depending on how many you need, you can divide the mixture evenly between the shells. If you have any filling left over, try stuffing boneless, skinless chicken breasts with it and bake until done, Yummy!
